The Clearing and Settlement Regulation was issued by the Financial Services Authority under Decision No. 75/2022 to regulate the mechanism of trade settlements in the Omani financial market.
The regulation comprises six chapters with 66 articles covering all aspects of clearing and settlement, starting from:

Settlement Guarantee Fund.
Penalties and sanctions.
The regulation aims to ensure smooth and efficient clearing and settlement of trades executed on the MSX, providing a stable and reliable trading environment for all market participants.
